Tongan Residents Still Struggling To Resume Normal Life After Volcano Rruptions

On Jan. 14-15, a series of violent eruptions occurred from the underwater Hunga Tonga-Hunga Ha'apai volcano, 65 km north of the country's main island Tongatapu, which also triggered a tsunami. In a village near the capital Nuku'alofa, many houses were destroyed and locals had to make temporary shelters for rest and sleep.
