Beijing, CHINA: A woman walks past Beijing's ancient Zhengyangmen watch tower, built in 1436 and currently under renovation, directly south of Tiananmen Square on the former Imperial north-south axis leading to the Forbidden City, 16 February 2006. The Chinese capital has kicked off an ambitious project to repair a total of more than 200 prominent heritage sites ahead of the 2008 Olympics, state media said, as Beijing plans to spend 120 million yuan every year until the Olympics to renovate the relics.
