Odd-Bjoern Hjelmeset of Norway won the 50km classic-style event with a time of 2 hours, 20 minutes, 12.6 seconds to finish just four-hundredths ahead of compatriot Frode Estil, with Germany's Jens Filbrich in third a further four seconds off the pace.
