DENVER, CO - MARCH 13: Kevin Mitnick was in Denver to give a presentation to BBVA Compass bank clients on March 13, 2018 at the Halcyon Hotel in Denver Colorado. Kevin Mitnick made headlines in 1995 when he was arrested by the FBI for hacking computers. He really put a face on this new cybersecurity threat even though what he was caught doing at the time seems not very nefarious (hacking voice mail systems, snooping around corporate networks). He's apparently changed his ways and runs his own company. Clients hire him to break into their own computer networks to see how secure they really are.
