TO GO WITH India-unrest-Maoist,FEATURE by Rupam Jain Nair A battalion of Special Police Officers (SPO) undergo training at a police outpost in Jagdalpur, some 242 kms (151 miles) south of Raipur, the capital of Indian state of Chhattisgarh, on October 29, 2009. As India prepares to launch an armed offensive against the Maoists operations in half of the 29 states the crucial challenge will be to destroy all heavily guarded Maoist camps spread across India and sorrounded by landmines.
