An Indian villager uses a handpump to raise water for an elephant from a tubewell at Agaratoli some 200kms east of Guwahati in Kaziranga National Park on August 2, 2009. The 430 square kilometre sanctuary in the north-eastern Indian state of Assam is home to the world's last single concentration of the Indian one-horned rhinoceros. 2,048 rhinos were found in Kaziranga National Park, followed by Orang National Park (64 rhinos), Pobitra Wildlife Sanctuary (84) and five in Manas national Park.
