Time Exposure of Heavy Traffic Patterns Along the Avenue des Champs-Élysées Boulevard in Paris at Night with a Taxi Waiting in the Foreground and the Arc de Triomphe in the Background - Stock-Fotografie

Time exposure image showing traffic patterns and light streaks along the busy Avenue des Champs-Élysées at night in central district of Paris, France in front of the Arc de Triomphe as a taxi waits in the foreground. The trails of light are caused by vehicle headlights and taillights moving across the scene while the shutter is open for a relatively long time (15-30 seconds). The famous landmark Arc de Triomphe (Triumph Arch) in the background and anchors one of the major traffic circles in France - also a very popular instagram location. The Avenue des Champs-Élysées is an avenue in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, France, 1.9 kilometres (1.2 mi) long and 70 metres (230 ft) wide, running between the Place de la Concorde in the east and the Place Charles de Gaulle in the west, where the Arc de Triomphe is located. It is known for its theatres, cafés and luxury shops, as the finish of the Tour de France cycling race, as well as for its annual Bastille Day military parade. The name is French for the Elysian Fields, the place for dead heroes in Greek mythology. It is commonly regarded as the "most beautiful avenue in the whole world".
