Glenfinnan Viaduct, Argyll & Bute, Scottish Highlands, Scotland - Stock-Fotografie

The Glenfinnan Viaduct, completed in 1898, is situated at the head of Loch Shiel and carries the West HIghland Line as well as the heritage Jacobite steam train from Fort William to Mallaig. With 21 arches this mass concrete viaduct crosses the River Finnan at a height of 30 metres above the ground across a 380 metre span. The viaduct also featured in four of the Harry Potter films.
