HIGASHI MATSUYAMA, SAITAMA PREFECTURE, JAPAN - 2023/06/01: Goryonuma Park is located on the edge of the Matsuyama Plateau on a hill overlooking the city of Higashi Matsuyama, Saitama. The pond garden takes advantage of the terrain. In the past, it was used as a reservoir, and a rice field spread out on the alluvial land below the marsh. After the rice fields became unusable due to pollution, it lost its value as a reservoir. Currently, it is maintained as a public park and is enjoyed by locals who take walks there.
